I was invited to a semi-expense paid trip to Branson, courtesy of Stone Castle Hotel, to attend the #BloggingBranson Event in exchange for my coverage. No other compensation was provided. All views shared are completely my own.
The Clay Cooper show in Branson, Missouri will not only leave you with a bellyache at the end of the show, but it will be something you and your family will remember for years to come. I have only been to a couple of shows, most of them like Medieval Times, so I was curious to see how this show would captivate me. By the end of the show, my stomach hurt from laughing so much!
Matt Gumm will catch your attention during the Pre-Show. The way he is able to make you laugh without even saying a word is very impressive. He also gets the audience involved and hypes up the crowd, which is always entertaining and makes for a good show.
Clay Cooper is definitely someone you will never forget once you meet him. Clay is a very dynamic and entertaining person from the moment you meet him. His interaction with the crowd makes you look forward to a great show! During our show there were some folks that were from Keister, Minnesota, the town featured in the Preparation H commercial. Clay had a field day with them! It was so funny and Clay had crowd going. I laughed so hard!!
Clay Cooper has been performing for Branson audiences since the age of 16, originally coming to Branson to perform with a kid’s band known as the Texas Goldminors. Clay loved singing and playing bass and loved meeting new people. What better place to do it than Branson! He continued performing in several Branson shows, and now celebrates his 32nd season performing. Clay hangs out after every show, greeting the audience and meeting new fans!
Clay Cooper Family
The Clay Cooper show features all of Clay’s family. His wife, Tina, is one of the performers on the show and does all of the choreography for the show. Clay’s sons, Colton & Caden, perform during the show and they are outstanding youth entertainers. It is incredible that these two young men go to school full time and are in school sports, yet have the time to perform with their mom and dad.
A Variety Show
One of the things you will like about the Clay Cooper show is that there is a bit of everything. This high-energy show is filled with singing, dancing, comedy, 24 entertainers on stage, great visual effects, and a variety of music – old and new country, rock, current hits, gospel, and patriotic!
The Clay Cooper Theater is also home to a couple of other good shows, like The Haygoods and a new show, Hot Rods and High Heels. To learn more about the Clay Cooper Show and the other shows the theatre offers, visit http://claycoopertheatre.com/
