These Valentines Day Pretzels are the perfect treat for your sweetie! With only three ingredients, you’ll love making these over and over again!
Valentine’s Day Pretzels Recipe
These pretzel chocolate treats are really, really good. If you love that salty with a little bit of sweet, you aren’t going to want to miss making out on these delicious candy coated pretzels. The best part? There are only three ingredients that you have to even worry about! Honestly, can it get any more simple than that?
Ingredients to make Candy Coated Pretzels:
- Square Pretzels
- Hershey Hugs
- Candy Conversation Hearts
Yes, you read that right…just those three ingredients are ALL that you need.
How long will these pretzel desserts last?
If you’re lucky enough to have any leftovers, I would recommend eating them within a day or two or making them. Store them in an airtight container to keep the pretzels from becoming soggy. (No one likes soggy pretzels, right?!)
Can you melt the kisses and drip the pretzels in them for a different twist on these pretzel chocolate treats?
Sure! Just keep in mind that the Hershey kisses “technically” don’t melt, so once you warm them for a short time, you’ll need to stir to get them creamy. (be careful, it’ll be hot!) Then, you can take your pretzel and dip it into the chocolate for a variation of this Valentine Day pretzel recipe.
Directions to make Valentines Day Pretzels
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pre-heat oven to 400.
Set out pretzel squares on the baking sheet in rows.
Unwrap one Hershey hug per pretzel square. Place one on top of each square.
Bake in the oven for only a few minutes. You will know they are ready when they look wet and shiny. They will not melt down – so don’t wait for them! If they bake for too long then they will crack and burn.
After you remove them from the oven, place a candy conversation heart on top of each hug. Slightly press down to flatten the hug.
Let them set and cool.
Enjoy! These are super, super yummy!
